This is a scheme specifically for members of teaching staff at further education colleges in Wales and Northern Ireland only.

It is vital that teaching staff have experience of the latest industrial practice in their subject, so that they may enthuse students about the relevance of the taught course to the future world of work. In partnership with a number of engineering companies, Engineers Make It Happen is offering the opportunity for lecturers to take up free places on technical training courses normally only open to industrial employees. And in collaboration with professional engineering institutes Engineers Make It Happen is offering funded places at institutes’ symposia and workshops. The Campaign will even pay your travel and subsistence expenses.
